12 June. 1000-1200. 6-13 years. White to Orange Belt.
Over 50 kids from across the Wellington Region converged on the Academy to participate in this fun and exciting event.
The mat easily allowed for 4 smaller competition areas, and refereeing was provided by Daniel Lloyd (Koizumi), Paris Lloyd (Koizumi), Brent Jarnell (Kapiti) and Hilary Rosser (Upper Hutt).
With the emphasis on maximum participation, the first divisions were organised by size and age. Following this groups were divided up for a short teams event.
Once the event had finished, the happily sugared up participants and their families left to brave the Wellington weather.
