We have had 2 competitors each at a different Australian State Competition in recent weeks.
Qona Christie contested the Young Women’s and Senior Women’s Under 57kg classes at the Sydney International Open, winning Gold in the Junior Women and Silver in the Senior Women, taking a Japanese Sandan to time.
Hugo Dewar contested the Senior Men’s Under 73kg class. He won his first two bouts but a dislocated thumb made it hard to dominate in the next two bouts.
Oscar Quin contested the Cadet Men’s, Young Men’s and Senior Men’s Under 81kg classes at the Melbourne International Open, winning Gold in the Cadets and Young Men’s divisions.
