The Judo competition calendar has been somewhat sparse this year, with one event after another being abandoned due to Covid Restrictions.
Chocolate Fish Competitions were born at Koizumi Kwai in 2004.
The idea behind them is to give kids the maximum amount of participation in a two hour period. Groups are organised on the day by criteria such as height, grade or age: whichever seem most appropriate.
Who: Junior Judoka between 6 and 14 years.
Where: Koizumi Kwai Judo Club, Halford Place, Petone.
When: Sunday 18 October 2020. 9.30am warm-up. 10am-12noon.
What: Bring your judogi and belt, warm sweatshirt, footwear (Shoes, Jandals or the like)
