Judo Gi / Judo Uniform
For Peewee classes we recommend children to simply wear comfortable clothing as they might for any sport and leave buying or wearing a gi until they are ready to join the juniors class at age 6.
When starting junior or senior Judo you will need a gi. For your trial sessions you are welcome to borrow the loaner gi’s in the changing rooms. Hopefully you enjoy the sport and you will fairly quickly want to get your own gi.
Judogi are specific to the sport and it is important to get one that is not made for Karate or BJJ. The Gi’s below are ones we can supply that will work perfectly but you can source them where ever you would like. It is well recommend that you try them for fit before purchasing. Our Judogi are sized roughly by height as a starting point. 100% medium weight cotton. This is a uniform which has proven to be popular among Aikido, beginner Jiu-jitsu and Judo players. The uniform is sold complete with white belt.
